Please join UM NALSA in congratulating our new National NALSA President, Josh Clause. Josh was elected president at the annual Fed Bar and he is the first NNALSA president from the University of Michigan Law School.
Josh Clause’s Grandmother was on the radio a few days ago. Here’s the clip (it’s really short, 3 min).
His Grandma talks about life on Tuscarora Reservation, Boarding Schools, and a few other things. The project is called Story Corps, it’s an endeavor by the Smithsonian to preserve oral history from elders (not just Natives, but everyone) in the community. The full interviews are being catalogued in the Library of Congress.
Good Luck with exams!
The votes are in.
Please join us in congratulating our new NALSA Co-chairs, Josh Clause and Rob Teel! NALSA will be in good hands. And Member of the Year goes to Erin Dougherty! If you see Erin make sure to congratulate and thank her for her dedication and hard work. It was a very close vote – thanks everyone that was a part of NALSA this year. It was so great to have your enthusiasm and support throughout the year!
