We gladly consider unsolicited manuscripts for publication on topics of international legal affairs. In addition to articles, we are very keen on considering unsolicited book reviews. MJIL only publishes student notes authored by University of Michigan Law School students and recent graduates.
Manuscripts should be double or triple spaced, typewritten or word processed (Microsoft Word XP preferred) on 8.5” × 11” paper with 2” left-hand margins; citations may be either in footnote or endnote form. Citations should generally conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (Columbia Law Review Ass’n et al. eds., 18th ed. 2005). English usage should generally conform to The Chicago Manual of Style (15th rev. ed.).
