Working to Build Professional Networks

Co-Chairs: Sonya Mays, 2L & Chioma Nwachukwu, 2L

Relationships are an important part of the legal community. Like anything valuable, they don't just happen - relationships must be developed, cultivated and nurtured. The BLSA Social Committee is responsible for providing membership with opportunities to develop and further strengthen their personal and professional networks.

Interested in joining the Social Committee?

What we do is pretty simple - we create and host fun social events that allow our membership to explore the full range of networking opportunities in Ann Arbor and beyond. Whether the social event is a small intra-organizational lunch or a large event involving students from other professional programs, our overarching goal is to connect people. If you love meeting new people, planning events or just hanging out and relaxing, there is a place for you on the Social Committee.
