Faculty Liason

Sharing The Gifts

My name is Alexis Clowney and I am BLSA's faculty liason. I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I attended the American University in Washington D.C., and just four weeks after graduating from college I began law school as a summer starter. I am currently in my second year at the University of Michigan Law School.

What We Do

The role of the faculty liason is to bolster the relationship between members of BLSA and the law school faculty. This semester I have two major types of events planned to further this goal. The first event is going to be a reception at a law school faculty members home. The second, will be student lunches with professors.

These student lunchs are currently aimed at first year students, as a method for\ these new students to get to know at least one of their current professors.
Though I hope first years, in particular, take advantage of these lunches, second year and third year students will also be welcome.
